Sex Tip of the Week: Vaginal Health

Hello there girls, I feel that I need to address the subject of vaginal health, just from my lay-person’s point of view, as I feel that many women might be under the misconception that because your genitals are covered up most of the time, you needn’t pay any attention to them the rest of the time. This is just not true. If you are the type of women who would not be seen dead leaving home with cracked or chapped lips or nails, then you must also be the kind of woman who would not leave the house with a cracked or chipped vagina.

I would like to share with you a few tips I have picked up for keeping the vagina in an enticingly healthy and presentable for loving condition.

Have regular sex, lots of it!

Regular sex and/or masturbation keep the muscles encircling your vagina toned; increasing orgasm and keeping the vaginal walls supple. Vaginal ExercisersThis results in sexual activity being more enjoyable for both you and your partner and definitely more comfortable. Arousal produces natural lubrication, coating the vagina and protecting the vaginal walls from irritation. Your vagina is going to require exercise for all of its and your life and exercising your vagina is the same as exercising every other part of your body, the more you do the better it gets. Without regular activity your vagina will grow sloppy and lazy and could cause all sorts of other problems such as incontinence.

Moisturize your face and your wobbly bits!

Women hardly ever think to moisturize in the region of the vulva. Although your inner lips should not be moisturized, it is harmless and beneficial to apply a soothing, hypoallergenic moisturizer to external areas, particularly where the underwear may chafe. I grease myself up every day after bathing and find it very soothing indeed. Much the same as I would not think of leaving home without a good moisturizer on my face, I do the same for every other part of my body including my vaginal area.

Spit is absolutely no good as a vaginal lubricant

Water-Based LubricantsMany women use saliva brought about by oral sex as a lubricant for sex. Saliva is not as slippery as natural secretions or water-based lubricant and can leave your vagina susceptible to small tears. Always use a good quality water based lubricant. And don’t forget to use plenty of lubricant on your sex toys, they can also do damage if proper lubrication is not present. Thee are millions of products available and no excuse for not using them.

Discharge is good

Discharge flows from the cervix to assist in keeping germs from entering the fallopian tubes and possibly causing infection, although, any discharge that smells strongly or is yellow or greenish and accompanied by itching or burning means you should really take the time to visit your doctor. But anything else is completely normal and indicative of the fact that your body is healthy and functioning normally.

Well girls, I hope that you might have picked up a tip or two to keep your vagina feeling and looking “tip top”.

Till next week’s Sex Tip of the Day.

Bye for now

Toni
